Raagi Cocoa Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Nachani / Finger millet flour / Ragi
- 1/ 2 Cup Whole Wheat Flour /Atta
- 2 tbsp Coco Powder
- 1/2 Cup Powder Sugar
- 1/2 cup/ 100 gm Unsalted Butter / Ghee
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 2-3 tbsp Milk
- pinch of salt
Method
Clean the whole Ragi and wash in 2-3 water.
Roast / sun dry Ragi and grind to make fine powder .
Your Homemade Ragi flour is ready to make healthy cookies.
Take 1/2 Cup flour and Dry roast the ragi flour on low flame for about 10 minutes. Transfer it into a bowl and let it cool.
In a mixing bowl, mix all flours,baking pow,coco powder a nd mix well. add salt and again mix.
Now add butter into it. Rub it butter on flours.
Add 2tbs milk at a time and start to make dough. do not over knead dough.
Cover the dough with a cling wrap and let it rest in refrigerator for 30 min.
Meanwhile preheat the oven at 170.c
Shape the refrigerated dough into small balls. place on a baking tray by leaving space in between.
Decorates with badams .
Bake the cookies in a preheated oven for 12-15 min.
After baking, let the cookies cool down completely on a wired rack.
Ragi Coco Cookies is ready to serve with a Glass of water.
Store the cookies in air tight container.
Tip
You can use Readymade raagi flour.
You can add more sugar , if you like it more sweet.
