Butter cookies Recipe

Gluten free / Butter Cookies Recipe / Chickpeas Cookies is  delicious cookies with an Indian touch that have a light, crumbly and absolutely delicious texture making them perfect cookies to go along with your  Tea/ Chai.

This Butter cookies Recipe is made with Chickpea flour and nuts flour. You can also try my   Eggless Nankhatai Recipe 


  • 1 Cup Gram flour (besan)
  • 3/4 Cup  All Purpose Flour (Maida)
  • 1/2 Cup Sooji (Semolina/ Rava)
  • 125  grams Melted  Butter 
  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Cardamom Powder   
  • 25-30  Almond /Badam  Crushed
  • 1/2 tablespoon Baking powder


Beat sugar and ghee until they change color or become fluffy
In another Bowl Add Apf (maida) semolina , gram flour  (besan), salt, Baking Powder mix it nicely. 
Transfer above sugar and ghee  fluffy cream into flours and knead it softly. (do not over knead the dough ) .
Meanwhile Grease a baking tray with parchment paper.
Now make round balls and place them on greased baking tray, if u want put almonds on the top.
Keep the cookie tray in refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
Meanwhile  Preheat oven at 170.C
Bake the cookies at 170 degree Celsius for 15 minute 
Let them cool for 15-20 minutes before serving and storing.
