Spicy Roasted Peanuts Rice Recipe

Ingredients (Spicy Roasted Peanuts Rice Recipe)

  1. Basmati Rice- 1 cup  
  2. Split yellow Mung Lentils 2 tbsp
  3. Peanuts- 3 tbsp
  4. Potato- 1 medium
  5. Onion- 1 medium
  6. Tomato- 1 medium
  7. Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
  8. Mustered seed 1tsp
  9. black pepper – 3 -4
  10. clove (grambu)-3-4
  11. Bay leaf (tej patta) -1
  12. Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  13. Red chili powder 1 tsp
  14. Pure Ghee (clarified Butter)/ Oil -1tbsp
  15. Salt- as per your taste
  16. Garam Masala(optional)- 1/2 tsp
  17. Carrot- 2 

Method
  Soaked Basmati rice & Lentil  for 15-20 minutes.

Cut onion, tomatos, potato, carrot

Heat 1 tbsp Pure Ghee / oil in a kadai 

Add Musterd seed, cumin let them crake.

Add black paper and cloves.
 
Add onion,let them turn brown a bit.

Make paste of garam masala, chili powder, turmeric and add this paste onion.

fry 1 minutes . (this step help to not burn masalas)


Now add  peanuts  and mix well in masalas.

Add chopped tomatoes and fry till get soft in texture.

Now add  potato . carrot fry 2 min.

Now add soaked rice , dal and mix well in all spices & cook for 2-3 minute on low flame

Add Boiled water approximate 3 cups and let them cook 10 minute.

Serve hot with  cucumber raita,  pickle & papad (pappadam).
